Travel by Car

From the Forth Road Bridge

Travelling on the M90 North from the Forth Road Bridge take the exit marked J2a onto the A92.

Remain on the A92 until you reach the Muirhead Roundabout (after leaving Glenrothes), take the 3rd exit onto the A914 (road signs will state Cupar, St Andrews)

Take the A914 into Cupar. Upon entering Cupar you will pass a large Tesco (on the right) after which the road will take a turn to the left and go downhill. At this point the railway station will be on your right and the road leading to the shop (South Bridge Street) will be on your left.

From Dundee

From the Tay bridge join the A92 dual carriage way until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout take the 1st exit (marked St Andrews) onto the A914.

Remain on this road until you reach St Michaels, at this point take a right turn onto the road marked Balmullo (the St Michaels Inn will be on your right hand side). Continue on this road, travelling through Balmullo, until you reach a roundabout.

At the roundabout take the 2nd exit (marked Cupar), this will take you through Dairsie and into Cupar

Once in Cupar you will approach a set of traffic lights with a Ford Garage on the right, remain in the left hand lane. Travel through Cupar in this lane, passing a large Lidl on your right, followed by the train station on your left and a set of traffic lights. Immediately after the traffic lights the road leading to the shop (South Bridge Street) will be on your right.

From Stirling

Cupar is easily accessible from Stirling via the A91, travelling through the towns of Tililcoultry, Milnathort, Gateside and Auchtermuchty.

You will approach Cupar along The A91, Carslogie Road. Follow the road through the centre of Cupar until you reach a set of traffic lights and have to turn either left or right (at this point the Sheriff court will be on your right, this is a large pink building). Place yourself in the right hand lane to turn right at the traffic lights.

Once you have turned right you will pass a large Lidl on your right, followed by the train station on your left and a set of traffic lights. Immediately after the traffic lights the road leading to the shop (South Bridge Street) will be on your right.

From Perth

Travelling on the M90 South join the A912 at junction 9, at the roundabout at Aberargie take the first exit onto the A913.

Continue on this road through Newburgh, Lindores following signs for Cupar.

You will enter Cupar on Balgarvie Road, turn left at the junction and follow the road through the centre of Cupar until you reach a set of traffic lights and have to turn either left or right (at this point the Sheriff court will be on your right, this is a large pink building). Place yourself in the right hand lane to turn right at the traffic lights.

Once you have turned right you will pass a large Lidl on your right, followed by the train station on your left and a set of traffic lights. Immediately after the traffic lights the road leading to the shop (South Bridge Street) will be on your right.

Car Parking

Town centre car parks in Cupar are clearly signposted. Street parking is free, but limited to 30 mins or 1hr in most places.

Travel by Train

Cupar is easily accessible by train from Edinburgh, Kirkcaldy, Aberdeen, Dundee and Perth (change trains at Dundee).
